Girls Love Robots is a pilot initiative in California to engage more girls in robotics engineering through the VEX Robotics Competition, which is managed by the Robotics Education & Competition (REC) Foundation.
The VEX Robotics Competition is currently comprised of 10,000 teams with approximately 23% participation among girls. Girls Love Robots will enable the REC Foundation to establish more all-girl teams and provide strategies to our partners for engaging more young women in robotics engineering.
Come and join this first all-girls event that will celebrate women in engineering and the success that you have reached this season.
Teams will play Skyrise and be judged for a variety of awards.
