For the 2021-2022 season, we had 24 girls divided into 4 teams. Together, they designed, prototyped, and engineered VEX robots.
In Tipping Point, the objective of the game revolves around several components: scoring purple rings into colored “goals,” getting the most goals to the team’s side of the field, and balancing with the alliance team’s robot on a “see-saw” in the endgame portion of the challenge. There are 72 rings and 7 mobile goals on the game field. 3 of these goals are neutral, while each team has 2 alliance goals. Teams battle it out for 2 minutes, scoring as many rings in goals as possible.
