For the 2020-21 Season, we had 12 girls who met virtually and collaborated on building two robots for the challenge, Change Up. We were able to safely exchange parts and builds between houses, and we competed in the 2021 Online Challenges! We finished the season with an in-person end-of-the-year celebration, and a successful virtual recruitment for the 2021-22 year.
Rules of the Game
In Change Up, teams compete to place balls in open tubes in and around the field. Each Goal starts with some balls already inside, which can be removed (from the bottom of a Goal) and replaced (from the top) during the course of the match. Teams can get additional points for having their color the highest in a Goal, completing rows on the field by having their color ball the highest in a row of three.
